Howdy, and what is up? Welcome to my own personal blog. My name is Jacob Houle, but most people and my friends call me Jake. and i'd prefer that too. I am 27 yrs old gonna be 28 by the end of March of 2024. This blog is mostly about me and what I do. What I do is graphic design work as you may already know from in my previous posts. I can design logos, banners, business cards, posters, etc... I like graphic design because its fun and you can really get creative with it. I mostly use Adobe photoshop for my design work, but I also use illustrator for image tracings and for the finer things. I also just post other things in this blog that I like and have for interests. like the music videos. That is another thing I like is music. I like music and love to dance! Lots of fun! This is a 12 page magazine. One its short its just called a Zine. I did it on photography and some of the work I have done in my media class over 6 years ago. I made it in my Multi-media & design class. It was a fun short little project. Can read it if you like. 

This is my business plan. I made this business plan back in my business class at my old high school over 5 years ago. I layed out everything about my business plan. My competitors, start up costs, executive summary, the kind business it is (LLC, Sole proprietorship etc...), and expenses, pricing of my design jobs etc.. so on and so forth. Its a plan entirely based on my graphic design business. Have a read about it if you like. It all well organized and got charts and graphs etc... it took us as students pretty much half the business year to put together our own business plans. So we all put a lot of work into our own business plans. 

Things I Enjoy Besides doing graphic design work there are many things I enjoy doing. Like for example I enjoy snowboarding in the winter time and skiing is fun too. But I think I like snowboarding the most. I enjoy riding my dirt bike in the summer time, and being outdoors in the nice warm summer weather. I also like driving around in my nice Cadillac Deville, I like driving it is fun to me and I enjoy it very much. I also don't mind hiking. Ive hiked Mount Elmore before. and went all the way to the top of the fire tower. Hiking is good exercise and it can be fun going out on a journey in the woods through nature. I just mostly enjoy the out doors when its nice. Another thing I enjoy is playing video games. But I've completed most of my games and been busy I haven't played in a while. But they are fun to me.

Have you ever messed up when you're typing something either a message/text or a note on your iPhone? Well you can go back to the exact place you messed up on your text or note and correct it. You hold down on the space bar for a couple seconds and then your blinking line appears and you can move it (the line/cursor) by sliding your finger across the space bar either left or right and move forward or back in your note or message to correct it. You can either delete the whole word or just a single letter by moving that little cursor left or right, to where you want it. Kinda cool huh? why not try it out?

This is one logo that I made for one client who is actually a friend of mine and he's kind of also a neighbor. He lives like 10 min from where I live. But I made this Logo for him and his business. As you can clearly tell its a Property Maintenance Business. Which is lawn mowing, brush hogging, spring/fall clean ups, gardens and picking weeds. He even does snow removal off roofs and just shoveling snow in the winter. I made this logo for him and to represent his business and what he does. So if you need any property  maintenance done, give him a call!

A little about me. I am 27 yrs old, gonna be 28 by the end of March 2024. Ive got three dogs, one older sister, a mom and dad, 4 Aunts, 4 uncles, and many cousins. Ive got a nice Cadillac Deville for a car, and a Yamaha Dirt bike. I plan to move somewhere where its nice all year around. I plan to do that at some point in my life but don;t know exactly when. Ive got a jack russel terrier, one beagle and a german sheppard. Those are my three dogs. I enjoy snowboarding, skiing, hiking, dirt biking, and being outdoors in the nice sunny weather in the summer. Absolutely dislike winter. I like summer most of all seasons but I dont mind spring and fall. I like winter the least.
